Shikki is a traditional Japanese wooden vessel. Shikki coated with lacquer tree sap is durable and can be easily repaired, so it can be used for many years. It also has excellent insulation properties, so you can use it even hot sake. Handling is a little delicate. After using it, wash it gently with your hands and wipe it with a cloth to prevent it from getting wet.
